Homesick All Over Again
I was able to go out to Wyoming for a short visit February 15-18. I didn’t bring my camera out as much as I would have liked, most of the pictures were taken in Clark’s Fork Canyon on Monday 2/17 and a few from San Coulie on the way home. I also took some of the farm and Heart Mountain the morning I left. I am bummed I didn’t get any pictures of Carol, Kim, Jason and Grace the night I flew in and we all had dinner, or of John and his family, but I guess that is just an excuse to go back and take some. :) Overall, the trip was really great. We had awesome weather and it was just plain good to be home (and I finally got to meet the new Border Collie addition to the family, Jessie!). I could dwell on the fact that it was a super short trip, but I really am just grateful I was able to get back and see everyone.
So now I’ll play catch-up with work and enjoy being snowed in for a few days. My car has been plowed into it’s spot, so I don’t imagine I’ll be going anywhere anytime soon. Speaking of cars… the time has begun to begin the process of getting my new vehicle. I’ve decided on a Honda CRV, now I just have to go thru the unpleasant task of buying it. I suck at this sort of stuff - the whole negotiating thing escapes me. Sigh. Poor me, right? Well, more to come on that later.
Build a snowman. Have some hot coco. Stay warm. Love you. Love, me.
