Went to my first Nooner show on Thursday night at Steamboat in Austin, and was definitely not disappointed. I got to be a roadie for the night (which meant I had to carry exactly one piece of equipment in the club) and overall had a great night. This was the same club that Jef and I had seen Bowling for Soup when we came to Austin in November. Very cool place.

Ready for more good news? We got a new TV! Randy, a friend of Tim’s, just got a new TV and graciously gave us his old 29″ on a sort of indefinite loan. We still don’t have cable, but we do have a DVD player that Liz gave us, so as Tim puts it “we’re slowly catching up with the late 90’s as far as home entertainment goes.”
