See what happens? I get a job (albeit temporary) and I COMPLETELY neglect my updating duties. Today is barely different - I’m just writing a little something so you know I’m still alive. I took an in-between job that a friend recommended to me - and although it hasn’t worked out (call me, I’ll fill you in) - I am thankful for the experience and the contacts I have made the past few weeks. I’m not sure where I’m headed next in the world of employment, but it has to happen fast. If Jef is going to get down here by the end of June, one of us needs to be employed. :)

It was also just my birthday, and I must say - it turned out to be a pretty damn good one. Jef surprised me with a 4 day visit - he showed up on Saturday. It was so nice to have him here. I can’t even tell you. The visit went super fast though and he had to head back to DC this afternoon - it was sad. Luckily, I had my weekly 24 fix tonight at Christine and Nicole’s. And what do I find when I get there? Streamers. Balloons. Pizza. Beer. 24. They threw a Kristin-surprise-birthday / 24-season-finale party. It was all good. Super, big, huge, dgynormous thanks to Tim, Christine and Nicole. I am still riding out the sugar high from the cake. I am a lucky girl.
