So, Nooner’s CD release party was on Friday night at the Vibe. Jef and I opted not to take Scott’s party bus, but still managed to have a great time (although the party bus participants seemed to have a pretty good head start on the drinking). The Vibe was packed, Nooner had a GREAT turnout. It was awesome. The only downside of the night was all my moronic doing. It goes like this. Nooner has this song called “Kids,” and during this song, girls join the band on stage and dance and sing. I know it was their big night, but I didn’t feel like getting on stage, so when the lights panned the crowd for willing ladies, I ducked down behind Danny. There were a few other girls near me who seemed to be doing the same thing, one girl was right next to me, so I didn’t feel so bad. When the lights when down, and they started to sing, I stood up. I tapped the girl on the shoulder who was crouched down next to me and told her she could stand up too. When she looked up at me, I realized that she wasn’t crouching. She was a midget. A freaking midget! What are the odds?! And what do you say in that situation? I had nothing.
