Among the many sites dedicated to the 2004 Presidential Election - both real and parody - these are some of my favorites. Most of these will only be funny today, by tomorrow we’ll be ’so over it.’

  • Indecision 2004 Election Day Blog
  • “Proudly updated throughout day until the polls close (East Coast time, beeyatches). Come back all day long, there’s more stories rolling in every hour. And on a serious note — please get out and vote. Nothing’s more embarrassing than a large democracy ruled by the cruel, fickle and trembling hand of a few senior citizens in South Florida.”

  • Electoral Showdown 2004
  • “When you click on a state the surrounding states will change to the opposite color, so be sure to use the sharp wit and steel determination of a presidential candidate! (Or a presidential candidates’ campaign manager.) Click away until all regions of the country are the color of your candidates party.”

  • Election Night Drinking Game
  • A guaranteed winner if you’re up for imbibing on a weeknight - come on, the elections only happen every FOUR years! I really thought there would be more of these, but this is the ONLY one I’ve been able to find.

  • Electoral Vote Predictor
  • On a more serious note, this website is “dedicated to tracking the electoral vote by examining the state-by-state polls. As new state polls are released, the maps, spreadsheets, tables, graphs, and movies will be updated. In the maps, the white states are essentially tossups and are subject to rapid fluctuations. The magic number needed to be elected is 270.”
