Happy New Year!! The transition from 2004 to 2005 was oddly similar to last year, seeing as that I went to the annual Stummie’s show. They only play once a year, on New Year’s Eve, and it’s always the last show ever, we really mean it this time, guys. Last year, New Years came mid-song so we all looked around going “isn’t it midnight?” This year, I was backstage helping with the band’s makeup when the countdown happened, and having no one to kiss I just kept applying blue paint and glitter.
