We got word a few hours ago that our good friends, Ben and Lisa got MARRIED today! Ben planned a surprise weekend trip to Key West for Lisa’s birthday, but didn’t tell her the destination until they arrived at the airport. He arranged for two of their good friends to fly in and meet them, and even brought rings. Details will surely follow, but in the meantime, this is my favorite tidbit:

“When they got to the courthouse and filled out their paperwork the lady told them they’d get married in this room and they looked over and the sign on the room was the “domestic violence” room. She said they took pictures.”

Some couples would have been mortified and thought it some kind of omen. Ben and Lisa? They took pictures.
