Two of my favorite non-local bands (one which I’m completely obsessed with) are finally coming to Austin this spring. I’m crazy excited, but both of them are opening for much larger bands - Carbon Leaf (opening for Big Head Todd and the Monsters) and The Dresden Dolls (my aforementioned obsession, opening for NIN). I plan to see Carbon Leaf, but the NIN show sold out in a matter of minutes, and I really only wanted to see the Dresden Dolls anyway. While it’s awesome they are getting exposure, I hate that I can’t get in to see them. If you have tickets, have fun and you suck. ;)
