Those crazy boys of Nooner pulled off a guerilla-style rock takeover outside the sold-out Jimmy Eat World concert at La Zona Rosa last night. They parked across the street from the long line of people, w/ their gear on a 6×12 trailer and rocked out. Chris had secured a permit for the location, but the security staff told them if they sucked, they’d shut them down. They played their full set of 8 songs, and the staff working the doors even came out to watch and take pictures. They sounded great, and I think it was pretty damn successful. Now that they have the setup down, I imagine they’ll do it again. I didn’t get any pictures, but Lisa got some good stuff. Go check ‘em out.
