Voice-Less
I’m still at the WFFC - I’m having a hard time keeping track of the days, but I have it on good authority that today is Friday. That means only two and a half more days. It’s been an interesting year, with mom not here and all, everyone misses her SO much. I’m having a great time - I lost my voice a few days back and when your whole job is to talk, it’s kind of paralyzing to be w/out it. The medics brought me some Sepacal lozenges - they taste god-aweful, but man, those things numb everything. I still sound raspy, but I don’t feel a thing! I realize I’ll probably do more damage this way, but it’s my last resort.
I haven’t left manifest much this year, it’s been pretty steady and I love the work. My poor partner though, Molli, she needs some more face time w/ the skydivers, so I’m going to take a break. The problem is that it’s HOT out there and while manifest isn’t very well air conditioned, at least it’s a little cooler in here. I suppose I could go to Walmart…

It seems like I remember you leaving manifest once or twice during the convention… :) I’ve got a new photo to complete your collection once I get home for the day I’ll send it your way. Speaking (or rather speaking poorly) of being voicel-less, I too am having trouble talking infront of the class. Wonder why.
