Image via the National Hurricane Center - dated 4PM CDT Thursday 9/22. Austin is looking MUCH better than it was yesterday as the storm has shifted east. (I believe Austin is just above the “at” in the phrase “1 PM Sat” - is that right, Lisa?) Houston residents are making a very slow moving mass exodus north, sitting in traffic for 8 or 10 hours (at least) to get less than 100 miles. They have now opened up both sides of the highway to traffic leaving Houston, hopefully that will help. Keep them in your prayers, this is a big one.
