Jef and I stayed in Austin for Thanksgiving this year and went to a ‘friends dinner’ at Tim and Liz’s - it was great. Liz has dubbed the months between Halloween and Christmas “Thanksweeniemas” - the idea being that it’s no longer separate holidays, you find Thanksgiving decorations up before Halloween, and Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, making it one long mass-marketed season. Candy corn, turkey and reindeer, oh my!
