Coin Madness

I’m splitting my time with a new team at work these days (the “Interactive” team - it’s like coming home after working w/ traditional media for so long) and we had our holiday party last night at Dave & Busters. I usually like to play air hockey, some shooting or racing games, but these guys set their sites on the coin machines and never left them the entire night. In their defense, one of the machines was broken and just kept spitting out tickets, no matter if they pushed the coins off the ledge or not. So they sat there for HOURS just feeding it a coin every so often (didn’t want to look suspicious) to get 50 back. In the end, they walked away with several thousand tickets - enough to buy a HUGE, rotating disco ball (which now lives two cubes away from me - I can see the lights reflecting off the ceiling as I type).
(Yes, I’m blogging at work.)
