An example of user-generated content gone awry…

In partnership with Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice”, Chevy recently invited people to make their own commercial with the new Tahoe as the tie-in, including the ‘privilege’ of writing their own copy.

The results can be seen all over YouTube, the three below were my favorites from AlaskaAction (via ThreeMinds @ Organic).

I don’t have a whole lot against SUV’s, if you really want one, and can justify it, go for it. I just don’t understand the mentality of bigger is better. I’m happy that a few of the car companies starting to develop hybrid-SUVs, give it a few years to get the technology tweeked and I’ll seriously consider it. I’d still be torn between the Hybrid Escape and the Mini… but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
