Slinky got a new toy today. He doesn’t get very many, they get lost, or Lucy steals them, so it was kind of a big deal. As it was, he wasn’t even interested until I rubbed old, dried catnip on it and then, boy oh boy, was he interested. He clawed it, chewed it, batted it and held it in his paws and purred. The love affair lasted maybe 5 minutes. Now it’s upside down in the middle of the living room and he’s asleep. He’s not usually such a junkie, but he hit it hard tonight.
