Meet Norico (Nori for short), the newest addition to our little family. Jef took a half day yesterday, and stopped by the Humane Society on his way home from work. He’s been thinking about getting another cat for awhile, but we were taking it slow, waiting for the right one to come along. She must have spoken to him, because there she was when I got home, curled up with him on the couch. It doesn’t matter, because I love her and want to put her in my pocket and carry her around with me all the time.

She’s confident, but not too boisterous, a little weary of Lucy and Slinky, but we don’t expect that will last long. They want to play with her, but she is still very small. She needs a few more days to understand that they don’t want to hurt her. In the meantime, she has claimed the top of the cat-post as her domain and spends most of her time climbing up and down, up and down.
