I think everyone who gets a new house and starts to remodel (and not a remodel based on a NEED, like having to rebuild or gut something to LIVE, this is purely cosmetic and aesthetic here), starts w/ their half-bath. It’s small, and you can’t really get into a whole lot of trouble with a room like that. Ours had this plastic-like, scalloped pedestal sink, plain walls and a boring, unframed mirror. Now it actually has color, nickle fixtures and a sink w/ storage (something we desperately needed in a tiny room w/ no other cabinets). We had the mirror already, and just hadn’t figured out where to hang it yet, so that was a bonus accessory. All totaled, the project was very affordable, and aside from wanting a deck, this should be the only major ‘remodel’. The rest should just be accessories and paint.
