Cacti
More domesticity. Today Jef and I ripped a giant cactus out of our front yard that the last owners had planted in the dumbest location. It had no business in our landscape, let alone in an area where it was forgotten and left to overgrow. The tops were green and prickly, but underneath it was very damaged. We bought a “spading fork” - another cool tool to add to add to our collection. Jef systematically broke the cactus into small pieces, eventually cutting into the giant heart at the center. I hated doing that to a living thing, something so clearly established, so I took some pieces for transplanting. It’s definitely better in the long run.
