Ladies and Gentlemen, I have sad news. After the infamous blender accident of 2006, I’ve known every day with my lil iBook was a gift, and several days ago, that gift stopped giving.

Truth be told, it hasn’t been the same since the incident. Sometimes sluggish, clicking or beeping, and finally unable to boot up at all. I’ve been regularly backing up my files (thanks to an external hard-drive I got for Christmas last year), so nothing was lost.

It’s sad, and I’m having trouble giving up on the lil guy, but it happened at a somewhat opportune time. The sale I caught to buy the iBook a few years ago is happening again at Amazon. I may be able to get a MacBook, and that doesn’t suck.
