Hello, 2007
Elizabeth posted a list “Indulgences for 2007” rather than resolutions. My sister reminds me that if you want to change, do it anytime, not just in January. I like both of these ideas enough that I might add a few more as the year goes on. These are all things that I enjoy, or WILL enjoy, immensely. I deserve to make time for all of them, and then some.
1. Make time to take a photography course
2. Learn to shoot the Canon Rebel (closely tied to #1)
3. Pay off credit card
4. Paint the living room
5. Take Lucy to the park more
6. [private]
7. Plant a vegetable garden
8. Depending on #3, consider buying a new car
9. [private]
10. Step up the “almost daily photo” to an “every daily photo.”
11. Breathe
12. TBD
13. TBD
14. TBD
15. TBD
How did I do in 2006? Let’s see…
1. Take a writing and/or photography course
2.Learn and shoot two new cameras, not necessarily digital
3. Practice yoga 1-2x per week
4. Pay off credit card
5.[private]
6.Buy a house w/ Jef
7. Take Lucy through advanced obedience
8.[private]
9.[private]
10. Buy a bike
11.Learn Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements
12.Continue eating less sugars, more grains
13.Go home, visit Wyoming
14.Plant a small garden
15. Breathe
I left #15 in there because no matter how much I try to slow down and breathe, I can always do more of it.

I predict in 2007 we’ll be a year older, lots of stuff will change but everything will pretty much remain the same UNLESS we truly take new action on whatever inspires us (and scares us a little, too).
Only then will 2007 be the best year ever!

Maybe I’ll get to see you in 2007. I think the last time I saw you was your birthday! hehehe.
