Thanks to Sox, I’ve become totally addicted to Twitter over the last week. I wasn’t sold on the idea at first, commenting on my every move seemed on par w/ filling out a timesheet. Then I discovered a few tools for easier updating (Twitterific, IM and via Netvibes) and found some cool people to follow (Leo Laporte, Sox, Veer, LISA) and that made a WORLD of difference. For updating, Twitterific is by far my favorite, but I think it’s only available for Mac. The community still seems relatively small (compared to say, MySpace), but as more and more people start joining the fray, I think it will be a force to reckon with. This has even sped up my desire to get a new cell phone (and service) so I can finally catch up to 2005 with this new fangled text messaging technology.
