Tha’ roof…. tha’ roof…. HEY! That’s a new roof!

We had a huge downpour around the time of the ice storm and noticed a puddle in our upstairs bathroom. Bah. After an inspection, turned out we needed a new roof. Sounds crazy, but the process to replace it was a lot less painful than I ever would have imagined. Even more than that, it was supposed to happen on Saturday, but Jef got home from work on Friday and the roofers were cleaning up and on their way out. Apparently they had a hole in their schedule and came a day early. I never even saw a workman or a scrap of roof on the ground. They came highly recommended thru a friend of ours and I can see why. It was kind of like magic.
