One of the guys I worked with at SXSW last week laid his head down on the table about half way thru the festival and sad sadly, “I’m so tired. I don’t want to be on vacation anymore. Can’t I just go back to work?”

Thanks be to heaven, that day has come. I went back to work yesterday and finally have a structured schedule again.

Overall, it was a great week. I’m not quite so bitter towards the music infiltration as I was in my previous post, but I still say the first half of the week was my favorite. If I volunteer again next year, I may just get an Interactive and Film badge and take advantage of all the free music instead of battling w/ the festival. It turns out, half the bands I wanted to see this year played their official show and at least one unofficial show at a day stage or after party.
