Can I just say…

Our new kitten is S T I N K Y.

We’ve named her Shorty (for now), but joke about calling her Stinky because she farts and it’s as bad as anything I’ve ever smelled. For God’s sakes she’s only ONE pound.

I took her to the vet today for her first checkup. She’s 6 weeks and healthy. It took FOUR different vets to confirm she’s a girl. She’s all black so it’s apparently hard to tell what’s going on down there.

Anyway. She’s curled up on the couch with me right now and smells like she’s recovering from a night of sake bombs and cheap sushi. But she’s purring. So that’s something.
