I finally got a new contact lens prescription this week (after three years, I know, bad!). I knew it was outdated, but I just put in my new lenses and I can’t tell if something is really wrong, or something is really right and I’ve just been over-compensating for so long. When I cover one eye at a time, things look fine (more than fine, it looks GREAT) but when I look ahead with both eyes, it’s blurry. It’s almost like one eye is seeing things smaller than the other if that makes sense. Anyway. I remember when I was in elementary school I got new glasses and it felt like this. The doctor said I just needed to adjust to the new prescription. I’m going to give it a few more hours and if it’s not better I’m back to my old lenses and calling my doctor, because this shit is freaking me out.

I feel drunk and I only had one (giant) margarita (as big as my head).
