Scene: Jef is taking a nap after mowing the lawn, I am getting ready to go downtown.

K: (whispers) Can I take the Digital Rebel?
J: Hmmm… sure….
K: Cool… where is it?
J: On top of the armoire
K: You hid it from me?
J: You always leave the lens cap off

A few minutes later….

K: I’m going to take the 50mm lens
J: Ok. Just be careful.
K: I will. Should I shoot 400, 600 or 800 ISO?
J: There’s no such thing as 600 ISO
K: Er… right, I meant 800 or 1600
J: Why don’t you put the Rebel down

In the end I did end up shooting on it and wished he’d been there because I had a lot of questions. It was good though, I made mistakes and had to learn what I’d done wrong. I asked a lot of questions when I got home and have since picked up the manual again (sigh). I’ll never learn if I don’t try, so expect to see a lot of test photos.
