I never got around to finishing this post last week, but it’s for a good cause, so I thought it was worth publishing.

If you haven’t seen it around the blogosphere, today is Blog Action Day. As defined by their website:

On October 15th - Blog Action Day, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind. In its inaugural year, Blog Action Day will be co-ordinating bloggers to tackle the issue of the environment.

The issue I’d like to talk about is cleaning products. My old rommate used to use (and love) Seventh Generation, but sadly, I just didn’t find that they worked as well as the chemical laden ones. Since then, I’ve found a few that I *do* like, but I know there are others I could be using.

Earth Friendly Products dish soap - The grapefruit scent is perfect for the kitchen.

Ecover Stain Remover - Excellent on stains and a nice, clean scent

My new favorite laundry detergent is the Tide Pure Essentials, but there’s really nothing natural about them. Too bad, they smell amazing.

But beyond those, none of my cleaning products are really ‘green.’ Do you have any that you like? Do you have any ‘make it yourself’ products (baking soda, etc.) that you swear by?
