Gussied Up at Etsy
I’ve spent the last few days setting up a shop at Etsy. According to their website, “Etsy is an online marketplace for buying & selling all things handmade.”
It’s one of my favorite sites, I can get lost in the beautiful, homemade goodness and just browse and browse. Seriously, just look at this search results for ’sock monkey’ and tell me that’s not awesome. There are over 50 pages of results! (If you don’t think that’s awesome, I forgive you. Maybe you’d like a a ‘vinyl record bracelet’, or a ‘crocheted iPod case’ instead. Whatever floats your boat. Etsy has something homemade and crafty for everyone).
To get started, I’ve posted a selection of 5×7 photos. They’re all set on a bright white mat, ready for an 8×10 frame (or they could be left by themselves). I’ve also posted a handful of 4×6 photo notecards - which could be used as cards, or also framed if you like. This is just a sample, so if there’s a photo you’d like to see as a print or card that isn’t listed, just let me know.
And if I haven’t done so lately, let me take this opportunity to thank you for being so supportive. The emails and comments about my photos and this site really mean the world to me. Honestly, even if I don’t sell anything, it was stil a good process. Seeing something you made all gussied up like that is an incredibly nice feeling.
I’ve added a link to the sidebar for “Etsy Shop” and will make updates depending on how it all goes. The thumbnails below also link directly to the Etsy shop if you’d to take a look around. Happy browsing!
