My favorite beer eeeevvveeerr is Magic Hat #9, made by the wonderful Magic Hat Brewery in Vermont. It was a sad day when I discovered I couldn’t get it in Texas. No need to send me advice for where to try, I’e gone everywhere and talked to everyone. Magic Hat simply doesn’t distribute to Texas.

A month or so ago I discovered there was a Magic Hat group on Flickr, and they had a request for photos and stories for where people drank their Magic Hat. I wrote a little blurb that while I enjoyed the beer (a LOT) when I lived back East, I can’t get it in Texas. Before the 3 oz. rule, I’d even gone so far as to bring a six pack home with me on the plane.

I decided to check the thread this afternoon to see if there was any interesting updates, and found this wonderful bit of news:
