There is a restaurant in East Austin called Vivo that gives roses to the ladies when they bring the check. It’s such a nice, memorable touch. This is my rose from last Saturday, its just now starting to fade (the tattered bits on the top right are from Shorty, she tried to eat it).

I should also mention that Vivo’s food is awesome and their patio is to die for. It was over 100 degrees when we were there and the patio was a cool, tropical paradise. Definitely worth checking out.
