These are links from my del.icio.us feed for August 30th through August 31st:

  • TECH: Mythbusters Paint Mona Lisa With 1100 Barrel Paint Ball Gun - "Mythbusters hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman demonstrate the difference between CPU and GPU by painting the Mona Lisa in 275 milliseconds using a 1100 barrel paint ball gun earlier this week at NVIDIA’s NVISION 08 show." So awesome.
  • PHOTO: “I found a camera…” via the Flickr Blog - This is a cute story about a woman who found a camera and handed it in to the police - it was never claimed, so they gave it back. The pictures looked like someone's bachelor party, a wedding and a European vacation, so she turned to Flickr and the "Scotland" group to see if they recognized any of the landmarks. The response was amazing.
  • GARDEN: Bay Laurel Plants - I'm using bay more often in my cooking, having a little bay tree outside might be kind of neat. It's actually a tree, but it's a slow grower, so it would be a few years before it would need to be transplanted to a large container or the ground. Could be a unique addition to our patio.
