Amy, Emily & The Boys

A few weeks ago I took some photos of my friend Amy’s two boys, Logan and Oliver, and her sister Emily’s son, William. Amy and I work together at Bulldog, and before that she actually worked with Jef at Freescale. Besides being an all around awesome mom, Amy is a great friend. She’s always been a big supporter of my work and was a good friend to Jef at Freescale. I remember Jef telling me when I accepted the job at Bulldog, “Find Amy and stick with her. She’ll steer you in the right direction.” Of course, when I started Amy was on maternity leave with Logan, so I was on my own for a little while, but as soon as she returned it was like a weight was lifted. I didn’t even know her, but I was grateful she was back. Two and a half years later, I’m still grateful to work with her.

We went to the Austin Children's Museum for the photos. If you have kids (and live in Austin, of course) I highly recommend you check it out. Everything is child sized, interactive and incredibly engaging. It's more than just toys, there are giant light brights and learning stations. The kids were VERY exited to be there, it was all I could do to keep up!

Here are a few of my favorites. The rest are over on SmugMug.

Love the one of the little boy looking at the fish tank! I love the ACM and miss going there! My kids are too old! I'll have to see if I can convince a client to go hang out there for a shoot!
