Smith Family: Arianna @ 6 Months

I took photos of Baby Arianna when she was a tiny newborn, so I couldn't believe when it was already time for her time for her 6 month session! It's amazing how much they change in these first few months. She laughs and smiles and has such a sweet, curious personality. And those eyes! She can't talk just yet (but that doesn't stop her from trying), but her eyes speak volumes!

Brooks Family: Harrison @ 2.5 Years Old

Guess who is 2.5 years old and growing like a weed? Harrison is! (He's growing like a very cute weed though. Just look at that face!) I can't believe I have been taking pictures of this handsome little man for 2 years now. I look back at our first session and shake my head. Where did the time go?

This is one of my favorite ages of child to photograph. They talk and talk and are so excited to play and show me things. They are usually very fast and furious sessions. I just try and keep up. :)

Forkner Family - Texas Bluebonnets!

This sweet family lives next door to us, and let me tell you - I count my blessings every day. Not only are they GREAT neighbors - fun and friendly and all around great people - but Jess, the mama, is the proprietor of Objects of Confection, an amazing artisan chocolate company. Let that sink in for a moment. Our neighbor... is a chocolateier. When she brings her work home with her, we often get samples. (Thank you, thank you, thank you.)

And then, as if that wasn't enough, they had this sweet baby! I know she can't always be happy, but I swear - she is always smiling! That smile was a perfect compliment to the Texas bluebonnets. I do love Austin in the springtime!

Hey Harrison!

I took pictures of Harrison, one of my favoritist almost-two-year olds in all of Austin, and his family a few weeks ago down on South Congress. We visited the Big Top Candy Shop (not sure who had more fun in there, me or Harrison) and then went to the South Austin Firestation. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend it. The folks there could NOT be nicer. Last on the list was Hey Cupcake. I'll let the photos speak for themselves on that one. What do you think, did he have a good time?
