Liliana & Marshall: Engaged!

Liliana and Marshall are the sweetest couple. We connected a little last minute, and thankfully I had their date available. In situations like that, sometimes things get a little chaotic or rushed, but not with these guys. They were so calm and laid back, everything just fell right in to place - like it was meant to be. The more I get to know this couple, the more I see that's how they are in everything they do. What a great way to start their life together.

For those of you who attended the wedding last weekend, the photos will be posted within 2-3 weeks. I can't wait for you all to see them!

On an sidenote, this awesome couple found me through a photographer I'd met last year at an event called Help Portrait Austin. Help-Portrait is a community of photographers, coming together across the world, to use their photography skills to give back to their local community. This year's event is on December 10, 2011. If you are a photographer, make-up artist, hair stylist, or just want to help out, they can always use a hand. You can find more information at http://www.facebook.com/HelpPortraitAustin.

Sarah + Brent: Engaged!

Brent and Sarah are a perfectly adorable couple. They're fun and down to earth and totally in love. One of neatest things about them is their sustainable farm in Elgin. They are working hard to educate themselves (and others) about living off the land and getting back to basics. It was import for us to take pictures around their farm and the town they've grown to love so much.

Congratulations, Sarah and Brent. I'm so excited about your wedding (and your farm!). I know you'll have a perfectly wonderful future together.

Susan & Lance: Engaged

Oh my gosh, has it really been a month since I've posted! Shame on me! Let's not let that happen again, ok? Ok.

The lack of posting has not been for lack of projects. I've been busy, busy, and now it's time to share, share!

First off - Susan and Lance. They are a bold, bright couple who needed something equally bold and bright for their engagement photos. We brainstormed some fun locations, the first was this wall RIGHT downtown. We were shooting on a Saturday - perfect, no traffic! Boy, do I really need to pay attention to college football schedules because that was the same day as the UT / Texas Tech game and the city was in total gridlock!

Well, we made it (eventually) and ended up having a great afternoon. After the wall we went over to Ladybird Lake. Having days like this in September make me feel lucky to live in Austin.

Congratulations, Susan and Lance!
