I love people and enjoy capturing the important moments in their lives. The ones they never want to forget, and even ones they don't realize are happening.

The cake, the candles, the happy little faces running around dizzy with joy and over the party you planned to the last, perfect detail. It only happens once, so you should enjoy it - be PART of your party - I'll make sure you don't miss a thing.

I have a passion for live music that was only heightened by moving to Austin, the live music capital of the world. I've been fortunate to have several musicians in my circle of friends, and that allows me to shoot and see new music on a fairly regular basis. I'm always up for more, where you playin'?

In March 2009 I visited Gonzales, Texas for a weekend lighting workshop. There was something wonderful and absolutely ordinary about Gonzales, like every small town in America. We could have completely overlooked it, but I’m glad we stopped, got our hands dirty and met a few people. A selection of prints from this trip are available at my Etsy Shop.

In July 2008 I went to Ruidoso, New Mexico for a week-long documentary workshop. A vast array of locations and shooting conditions put our skills thru the paces. Not only did we come out better photographers, we also continue to stay friends and shoot together.
